Waterpik Water Flosser: The Easiest And Most Effective Way Of Flossing Your Teeth With ZERO Effort (My Review)

Waterpik Ultra Water FlosserBest Water Flosser Review

Admittedly, brushing your teeth alone cannot give you great oral hygiene, i’m sorry, but with Waterpik ultra water flosser, that’s a different story, waterpik is a great product for water flossing if not the best.

Water flossing is the process of flossing using a water flosser (a hand-held device) to remove food debris from your teeth.

Flossing is a daily recommendation just like brushing to remove food debris lurking in your teeth. It also removes plaques on the teeth, keeps the teeth healthy and prevents diseases.

Why Is Water Flossing Better Than String Flossing?

  1. While string flossing removes food debris between teeth, and debris at gum-line, it is quite demanding and people who don’t like string floss may not floss.
  2. Also, flossing with strings is a bit hard and takes more time than water flosser, this is probably the main reason people DON’T floss.
  3. Certainly, water flossing is much easier and pleasant than string flossing – you can floss as often as you want.
  4. Water flosser comes in handy for cleaning braces, bridges, crowns and other dental implants. Obviously, people with problems like arthritis find it hard to use the string floss. Water flossing makes it easy for them to floss and maintain healthy teeth.Thumbs up for water flosser

Before I bought Waterpik, I didn’t floss often, because it was so time demanding, seems like a drag to go between one tooth and then the other…

and the thought of opening my mouth so wide, and pulling strings back and forth just wasn’t convenient for me, IT REALLY WASN’T !

Thankfully, I found the water flosser and it has changed the way I floss my teeth, only because i’m too lazy like the rest of you.

Waterpik Is Super Convenient To Use!

You would only need a couple of seconds with the Waterpik Water Flosser

What Are Other People’s Opinions On The Waterpik Cordless Water Flosser?

“I was aware of the Waterpik® Water Flosser prior to EuroPerio8, having heard of its benefits from several colleagues, but I had never had an opportunity to witness it being demonstrated live. As my daily work now focuses around dental implants, the significance of a Water Flosser within the maintenance armamentarium has been heightened.”

“I like the product’s ease of use and easy manipulation with well shaped tips to reach difficult crevices in the posterior areas of the mouth. I believe it will enhance maintenance protocols while also being more comfortable when cleaning the interdental spaces.”

Dr. Adam Patel from the Centre for Clinical and Aesthetic Excellence in Leicestershire comments on the Waterpik® Water Flosser after witnessing a demonstration at EuroPerio8.

“I have several patients who use the Waterpik®Water Flosser, who say it is easy to use,” says Stefanie Binnee, a dental hygienist and therapist from Garden View Dental Care in Beaconsfield.

“I think it would benefit people with manual dexterity problems in particular, as it is not too heavy and is easy to hold. I also believe patients with implant bridges and tight interproximal gaps who wouldn’t normally use dental floss or interdental brushes have found the Water Flosser beneficial as well.”

Hi Isaac, flossing one’s teeth has a way of making the mouth fresher and more hygienic especially after food intake as it helps in removing food particles that stick to teeth after eating. Another thing I love most about water flosser is that it is easier to carry out and not complicated. The waterpik water flosser looks smart and professionally manufactured. Another good thing I love about the product is that it is portable. Thanks for a well researched article.

Hi! Thank you for describing the features we find in a Waterpik Water Flosser. I agree with you that brushing our teeth alone cannot give us all the oral hygiene we need.

And I’m glad you have also presented the advantages above String Flossing. Those additional 5 minutes every day do add up.

Does the Waterpik Water Flosser require maintenance? And how often should it be done?

I’ll buy it. I like it has 30 Day Money Back Guarantee.

      Hi Henry,

You are welcome, the waterpik does not really require any kind of maintenance, unless there’s a mechanical malfunction which does not happen very often, but also easily fixable by waterpik themselves.

Yes, the money back guarantee is the best thing a product can offer, like for real.

Best of luck in purchasing, you won’t regret it!

I really like this idea, but I do have a couple of doubts, the main one being that I can’t imagine myself pulling out one of these in a restaurant having just finished my meal. Currently, I use dental floss which has the benefit of being available whenever I need and not being at all messy. Surely with a water floss the user ends up with a mouthful of water, of a kind which, illogically, I for one would not be willing to swallow?

I say “illogically” because after all, everything in my mouth is in there already! But just because something is illogical doesn’t mean I don’t think that way. We are who we are.

Irrespective of the foregoing, I still think these would make a sensible and useful addition to night-time ablutions just before bed. In fact, in so long as these are affordable, I will probably end up with one soon, so thank you for this article.

      Hello Tayo,

I completely understand your point of view, but then again, not a lot of people floss their teeth in the restaurant as that is not really necessary unless something got stuck in between your teeth during your meal.

I would say it can wait, just like the majority of people. Then use it when you are at home, still much quicker and more effective than string flossing.

That’s my opinion, but again, in a sense I get what you mean. Best of luck

Thanks for this informative review on waterpik, after reading this post it’s proven that Waterpik is thought to be three times more effective than dental floss for cleaning around braces as it’s way better than the usual string floss reducing the risk of getting injured while flossing. but I would love to know if it is dentist recommended?

    Hi,

Wow, it is an amazing idea for easy dental care. While string flossing removes food, flossing with strings is a bit hard, definitely, water flossing is much easier and pleasant. This benefit cannot be found at one. So I think everyone should use Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser. I will definitely shear this article with my friends and family. I also use it regularly. Thank you.

Hi there. I like what I am seeing on your site. It is nice that you gave personal example on why you didn’t like to floss often and what made you convert to use water flosser. There’s also a good amount of explanation on the product. Just a few of my suggestions, I think water flosser does a more thorough cleaning compared to string floss to get rid of tartar.

String flossing might cause gums to bleed while water flossing does not. Fresher breath when you water floss it with mouth rinse. The product should be better than normal floss to attract readers from buying, make those who are not lazy want to buy it too.

It is a lot pricier than normal floss and it must be worth the investment to make me want to buy. Maybe you could add the price range of the few waterpik flossers you recommend, which is a better choice if I want to buy and I would be curious if it is suitable for children or elderly who are wearing dentures.

If older folks can use it, it might be a great gift for my parents. Hope it helps.

      Hello Qing,

I would say try it out, your parents might thank you for it, haha.

Water flossing is also more fun in my experience, it’s never a drag whereas string flossing is. The water flosser is suitable for almost all ages, if they know how to brush, they will know how to floss.

The price is indeed a little pricier, but worth it.

I hope you can make a good choice 🙂
